Known by a variety of names and spellings: Canyon nemophila, White nemophila, small baby blue eyes, variable leaved nemophila, vari-leaf nemophila, white nemophilia.
This low growing plant with small flowers often forms tangled mats in shady areas.
Flowers can be white, blue or purple (but are most commonly white).
Smallflower Nemophila, Nemophila parviflora, is a nearly identical but slightly smaller flower that grows in nearly identical locations (preferring things slightly moister). |
