The bright white flowers of this plant are reminiscent of tiny pieces of popcorn. These flowers are usually similar to the larger and more dramatically colored Fiddleneck. Most species of Popcorn Flower also coil and are covered with fine hairs.
There are numerous very similiar wildflowers across two genus -- Plagiobothrys and Cryptantha -- identified commonly as "Popcorn Flower." They are very difficult to definitively identify except by an expert. |
